Giving Tuesday Fundraiser 2021 - Give Catholic!
On November 30th, 2021, St. John is participating in Giving Tuesday again this year.  All money donated to this parish fundraiser will not be subject to the Archdiocese assessment (Tax) of 9.7% and will go directly to our parish.  The website is available now, and if you are planning to give, you don't need to wait until Nov. 30th.

There are several options to give:
Option 1:  Via our secure Giving Tuesday website
Option 2:  "Text to Give" using phone number:  513-880-2458 & keyword:  stjedpch
Option 3:  Use your cell phone and the barcode provided on this website to take you directly to the Giving Tuesday page for St. John.

Our goal is $20,000.  Donations will cover routine maintenance & repairs, and possible repairs to the roof of Church.

November is the Month of Holy Souls
Please remember to pray for the souls of the faithful departed, especially during this month of November.

Beacons of Light Families of Parishes
Comments left by the faithful are being read, sorted, and taken into consideration as Beacons of Light moves toward the next stage of finalizing the Families of Parishes. Announcement of the final Families of Parishes is expected in December.

Beacons of Light Town Hall Meeting
Fr. Cordier held two "town hall' meetings for parishioners who were interested in asking questions about Beacons of Light.  One session was at St. Saviour Church on the morning of Tuesday Oct. 12th.  The other was at St. John the evening of Weds, Oct 13th.

The meeting at St. Saviour was captured on video and can be found here.  The information is valid for both parishes in our Region.

What is Beacons of Light?
Beacons of Light is a multiyear process of pastoral planning for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Rooted in prayer, groupings of parishes will come together as one faith community. These new “Families of Parishes” will be stronger together, focused more on mission than on maintenance. In the Families of Parishes, we will grow closer to God, follow Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit and radiate Christ in our lives.

St. John Dad & Men's Club
The St John Dad’s and Men’s Club is a group of men dedicated to the continued support of St John the Evangelist Parish. Our primary contributions are through time and talent.  We also run many fundraisers (Fish Fry’s – Las Vegas Night – Corn hole Tournament – 250 Club – golf outing - Festival set-up and tear-down - etc.)  Through our time, talent and fundraisers, we have remodeled the gym and Letterest Hall; helped pay for new roofs floors and windows; replacement, repairs and upkeep of the boilers; paid for and replaced sidewalks around school and streets, among many other projects.

One of the most important aspects is the fellowship that we foster for our group and the St. John parish as a whole. We meet every first Monday of the month at 8pm in Letterest Hall.   New members are always welcome.
Contact either Don Braun 513-984-6574 or John Bunker 513-519-9545 for more information.
