PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION (PSR)

Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides catechetical/religious instruction to children and youth who attend public schools so that young people can grow in intimacy with Jesus, be knowledgeable about their faith, and integrate the teachings of the Gospel into their lives.  Parish religion programs also prepare young people for the reception of first sacraments.

PSR starts in mid-September and goes to the end of April.  Classes are held on Sunday mornings in the St. Saviour Parish Education Center from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.  Our PSR program is open to our parish children that attend public schools in grades K-8 and to preschool age children (ages 3 & 4).

The PSR program includes formal classroom instruction, experiences of prayer, worship, and community service.  It's lead by St. John & St. Saviour parishioners that serve as Catechists (teachers) and most of our Catechists are certified by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  Our Catechists are encouraged to earn the highest level of certification.

Please call the Parish Office at 513-791-9004 for additional information related to elementary religious education for your children and ask for Jenny Edmonds.
